    Leah's Home!

    Tuesday, April 22, 2008

She arrived home a couple of hours ago. The first thing she did was send off an email, all by herself! As you can imagine it takes her a long time and she tires easily. Doctors want her to do as much as possible without over doing it, they obviously don't know Leah very well.
Therapy will be as an outpatient three days a week. Overall her health is good, she has issues with walking, some memory loss, loss of language skills and overall frustration. Time, prayer and faith.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers, comments and emails.

    Mish

Very pleased to hear that you're getting better. Best of luck with physical therapy, when they're making you suffer, remember that they don't hate you, but want you better, and their way is the only way to do that.
During those times when life sucks, it's ok to cry, but when you're done crying, pick yourself back up and keep going. May G_d give you courage, you will need it.

Just take little steps each day Leah. Progress in recovery like this is best measured in inches, not yards.

But I am oh so grateful that you are back at home!!

You just take it easy, and get better.
