    Leah Meter Maid

    Wednesday, April 16, 2008

Leah had a half way decent day. She continues to get frustrated easily.
We went through similar things after her last open heart surgery. She wants to be completely well NOW.
Her speech is still limited to one word at a time, today she asked for Mish. The therapist did have her up on her feet today, but she has yet to walk unassisted. She either can't or won't write or read. And food is still something she can take or leave, mostly leave.
Yet doctors are pleased with her progress. I can't say it enough, THANK YOU EVERYONE for your prayers.

    Leah,
You are making progress. I know it is slow but with each passing day you WILL get better. I believe you are to strong willed to just quit. I know you want to be well NOW and I know you get frustrated but KEEP GOING, you are heade in the right direction. Roxi and I are STILL praying for you and your family and G_d IS answering those prayers, but you have to do your part also. Be strong!!

    Mr Friedman,

This is Roxi. Leah reminds me so much of me. I am sorry to say that and so will Bill. I am very-strong willed and sounds to me like Leah is too. Tell her that we are really rooting for her to get well. Please tell her that we are still praying for her to get well and GET HER ON THIS COMPUTER!! We miss her witty ways. :) Take care of yourself because it sounds like the doctors' are really taking care of her. And we don't want you right there with her by not taking care of yourself. G-d is wonderful and please tell her that we are really praying for you all and for peace for your land and soldiers. G-d Bless you, Bill and Roxi
